Love the 5yo carving the boat with what looks to be a mora clipper!
Correctly supervised of course and perfectly safe. But I wonder what the parents think sometimes when I let cubs twice their age do the same thing here

That was the only bit I thought was a bit risky - a smaller knife would have been more suitable? Cooking their own lunch of salmon and jacket potatoes on a fire they lit was really good - my little'un just makes biscuits and puddings at nursery.

Just out of interest why do you thin a smaller knife would be more suitable?

A smaller handle would have been easier for the nipper to hold properly. It looked awkward.
