Representative sample of some Beech crochet hooks i made yesterday afternoon, all have varying degrees of 'bump' in the middle to accommodate arthritic hands.

Lovely work there Mark
My only criticism would be that it's difficult to judge the scale of them in the picture. Perhaps put something like a SAK or a coin in the picture so we get an idea of their size?![]()
Beautifully done Mark
I'm sure I've said it before, but it doesn't need much to make a hook a pain to use, the smoothness and shaping on yours looks excellentNothing to snag or catch awkwardly, and a good shaped handle is a blessing.

Lovely and shiny! How do you get them so glossy and smooth? Fine grit abrasives, or some form of burnisher perhaps?
Fair point, these are quite chunky at 1/4 diameter
