I'm sure this has been shown here before, but since I haven't seen it till now there must be at least one other person in the world besides myself that hasn't as well. While a lot of them really aren't very practical, it's still amazing how many variations are possible.

When it is pi$$ing 2C rain in the northern Rockies, the bigger the tarp shelter the better.
Even enough for my 9' x 12' canvas tent, table, chair and gas camp stove.
The real deal is to be able to drop all the edges. Bigger heat trap than I ever imagined.

I bring an antique floor lamp with an 8W LED bulb (50W incandescent brightness), drive it with a square wave inverter,
takes no juice at all from #2 batt in the truck, outside the tent.

I'm more than mildly surprised by the nasty 19th century camper people who are incapable of understanding how the solar panels on the top
of my 3/4T GMC Suburban will juice things up tomorrow.
