On The Scrounge For Some BEM

Just purchased two Firesteels with Spoonys group buy

I wonder if anybody has some Birds Eye Maple going spare

So that I can make two handles for them to match my Stewart Marsh Bushcrafter, which has BEM scales.

More then happy to pay the going rate, whatever that may be and of course the postage.

I used a curly birch burl for mine.
Not exactly the same but quite close.

Sorry Phil, I don't have what you're after but how about making the handles out of Maya wood....that way if dropped in water they will float (ok so will the other wooden handled ones) but it also means you have instant tinder with you firesteel by scrapping a bit off.
