Went on a great trip yesterday to a place called Duck Bay in Manitoba. It's a First Nation reservation and the lake was solid enough to drive a 4x4 on. The locals were friendly, knowledgeable and very proud of their culture. We even stopped and had a chat with the local police officer who was surprised to see English folk showing an interest in their small town. I think sometimes indiginous people are misunderstood and feared in some cases. I say get of yer **** and immerse yourself in their culture and heritage, it's a rich and rewarding experience
