I've just been out with the dog and found a blown down larch tree. Some of the branches were covered with various species of beard-like lichen which is good for tinder and firelighting. I gathered about enough for 3 A5 envelopes so if anyone wants it the first 3 PM's with addresses will have a fine New Year present!
