Hello
I picked up this little gem the other week and thought i'd show it on here,i gave it a little clean up and a bit of a sharpen too( sorry i forgot the before pics ), an Elwell kent pattern hand axe. I must admit it is a joy to use and comfortable to hold.I also like the colour and grain of the handle which was not loose at all.

elwell are good tools, a gransfors equivelant from the past.

im half way through fixing one at the moment. found it with no handle and its a bit beaten up but still good:)

yours is probably the best example i have seen, especially as the handle is still solid.
im suprised how thin it is, its definately an axe for crafting rather than for splitting firewood. is yours this thin too?
