looks like an American Snapper turtle/terrapin.....although I'm sure some of our transatlantic friends will confirm it [or not]..... hope it was'nt filmed in the UK... they eat everything.........

I know someone at the EA who works in Fisheries Protection, so I've contacted him as a first step and will see what advice he can offer.
Ok so there I was just swimming and minding my business and this guy come along and starts to take pictures, being naked I just dive under but a guy can only hold his breath so long, so you got me
