Love your stove...

Any tutorials on this subject ??

Ok this is as simple as it gets.

Cut out fuel slot

Make a wind shield template - the length depends on how much shield you want, I went for 3/4 - the important bit is to cut it near were the rivnuts will secure it.

Fit the wind shield (1 or 2mm aluminum) and mark using the holes in the main body - now I drilled 9mm holes as that is the size I needed for the 6mm riv nuts I had.

The legs are just coach bolts (6mm) bent in a vice - with wing nuts to lock them in place

Hope that helps?

Thanks Shaman,

I think I made a mistake ... I thought that little brass colored thingy was the trangia...
That was what I was interesting in how it was made..

Being a tenderfoot has it's even more hard fallbacks ;)..

Can you tell me how riv nuts work please? Are they only one piece or two? Do they need a tool to fit them or do they just push into a hole? They look like just the ticket for something I have in mind. TIA.

Yes there is a tool, they work a bit like a pop rivet only they have a thread in the middle. there are lots of sizes I just find M6 to be handy..

Will take some pics tomorrow at work.
