Does anyone know where I can a pair of these for my Karrimor Sabre 75? Two criteria: Cheap and excellent condition (or better, New!).

TIA,

Rich.

Rich,

If you're considering the yoke as well, you can get it from here.

I made a few comments about the set up on my blog

Hope this helps.

£18.99 for 2 x Pouches + yoke & straps from Springfields - relatively good company, never let me down to date. OR £7.50 each - without the accessories.

Interestingly some years ago (3 or 4 years I think) they had a surplus of OG side pouches - sold on at £2 each!!!

(Batfink doesn't work for them - just a happy customer!)

Note that the ones from Soldier of Forune are genuine Karrimor, and that's why they are a bit dearer, and also new. Fully PLCE compatable though, and also fit the Snugpak yoke too.

I have a yoke and dropbelt, both as new and surplus to requirments any takers, both PLCE.

Slightly off topic.
But does anyone know if a PLCE side pouch will take a 2 litre coke bottle and still zip up?

Cheers

What's a drop belt?

I managed to get ten of them when they were £2.50 each. They were an absolute bargin. I've also got a black Karrimor set, but the issue ones seem to be slightly better made and have thicker material - the Karrimor ones are still pretty good though.

Hi Buckshot

Drop belt is no more than a webing belt that poches etc. can be suspended from. The yoke can be attched so as to make it part of the webing harness. Otherwise just a good strong belt.
