I know, even wildcats, but all I got if we speak about mammals were Iberian mountain goats. I would need more time to set up trail cameras and some solid hidden observation post during the sunrise and sunset. Great treks anyway.

Great place and great photos. Being myself from Portugal Geres is my favorite place in all Portugal. From the pictures i see that you walk in the "rio Homem" valley did you have the opportunity to go to "Carris" mines?

Last year my and my wife spent 4 days in Geres exploring and walking (image at http://bushgear.blogspot.pt/search/label/Geres), next year i am planning again a vacation there to walk some new trail.

just sent you a PM. Carris mine was great, we saw huge herd of about 50 Iberian mountain goats there!
