The unthinkable has happened ....the wife has opened my parcel from the one and only mr sheathster lucky Lee and has remarked on the outstanding quality and craftsmanship .......and then without warning the bomb droped ,no not how much I paid ....but she would like a handbag in saddle and with White stitching !!! Is nothing sacred she has a three bed semi with a conservatory and I have a shed and a tarp,now she's after my leathersmith ......Lee to good for your own good . Will post pickys of sheath and maybe handbag soon.

Are you sure? We're all nearly grown ups, if a man feels the need to have a dress up hobby (other than Bushfraft) we all understand, if you, sorry, your "wife" wants a handbag to match your, sorry her sheath, we're all cool with that... LOL
There you go Lee, there could well be a call for you to start making handbags for women and for men who want their handbags to match their sheaths (could be a combined multi carry).
Just mentioned this to my girlfriend (she does exist, honest) thought it may make her chuckle as she knows Ive had stuff made by Lee. She didnt chuckle in fact she wants to know if Lee can indeed make handbags and how much they would be? Apparantly a bespoke handbag is the holy grail for some women, my girlfriend included (just to reiterate she does exist and Im not interested in a handbag for myself, but a leather man bag may look nice though)

Dam iv been sprung and I though it was I hadn't shaved me legs when I went shopping,or was it trying to explain that it's not a dress but a floral tartan.....:0)
this lot has really made me chuckle i can tell you, my mom has also asked, lol, i have had some strange requests regarding leather i can tell you, from some very high up people wanting things for there, errm, how do i put, lets say hobby, lol.

Several members on this forum make a good portion of their income supplying the alternative leather market. Craftsman need to eat too.
Why didnt you say you did leather work with spikes mate. Could open up a whole new avenue of business for you!
With the way the world is going, growth in to a new market now is nothing but a pain, by the time you've bought all the gear, erected your workshop, you're going to take a beating. You’ll have to advertise, you know to whip up some customers, and even then you have to keep them on a tight rein or pony up some real money.Why didnt you say you did leather work with spikes mate.
