Questions.
---------------
Lowa mountain boots or canadian mukluks.......read that goretex will freeze over night but plan on taking some hand warmers to use against this and keeping them in the hammock sock with me.
Or should i just buy the mukluks??

Arktis smock or a simple canvas snow smock??

Buffalo trousers, i dont have any prior use of these but been told they pack down smaller and are lighter than snugpak softies?? Any one know this for sure?

UCO candle lantern, could i use this with a smoke hole in my hammock sock for light and warmth or will i kill myself with carbon monoxide poisoning??

Pulk.....where do i start. Any ideas on what and from where???

Do you think it would be worth renting a SPOT GPS MARKER or should i just go with my View ranger app and plenty of batteries for the power bank??

Thanks for reading.

Looks a good starting list Martin.

I can't help you with the hammock set up as I haven't done that yet.

Cooking and feeding is dependant if the group is going the solo route or all in together, no need for everyone to take pots and stoves etc.

Same for saws and axes.

I used the Army issue cold weather boots, had no problems.

Arktis smock or a simple canvas snow smock??

either will work mate.

Buffalo trousers, i dont have any prior use of these but been told they pack down smaller and are lighter than snugpak softies?? Any one know this for sure?

Again army issue worked fine for me

UCO candle lantern, could i use this with a smoke hole in my hammock sock for light and warmth or will i kill myself with carbon monoxide poisoning??

take it for a light source but not for what you suggest above.

Pulk.....where do i start. Any ideas on what and from where???

Make your own - see threads on here or speak to Karl

Do you think it would be worth renting a SPOT GPS MARKER or should i just go with my View ranger app and plenty of batteries for the power bank??

Depends on your destination, family worries etc
