With less than a week to go before the early birds are on site, just a reminder that once again we are on the middle pitch. I would like to continue expanding the pitching area we started on the last meet, which will also add wood to the fire stack. So any help for an hour or two or an extra chainsaw would be most appreciated.

A few of us have posted some kit up here for the boot sale, if there are any more who would like to pass on their surplus and make a few bob , please add your stuff to the list.

Well you've got me and my lad, plus I'll be loading up some tools... so as long as the timber is there (and you can raise us from our peaceful slumbers) there will be a new bridge

Oh no, no chainsaws lol

All hand tools, but me and the lad are geared up and ready for a good hard day of work... as long as in the evening we get that humour and conversation we had last time. Really enjoyed it... and I know me and the lad spent lots of time away from the group, but its a beautiful woodland to spend time in. Still can't believe how well we both slept there... best sleep I've ever had.

Is Tinky doing that mountain man's breakfast this time? I'm not missing it if he is! My stomach is still aching from missing it last time!

when your slumbering in your pit, the chainsaws hint at a work party...at work! but feel free to apply your hand tools if you want as for the MM breakfast, no that was a one off by Pete, sometimes there are semi impromptu group meals, this was one of those.
