what a lovely meet! a few of us made the most of the great weather and came down early on the Thursday. welcome to our newest visitors Tom and Dan, both live locally and had no idea we were on their doorstep. :)

I decided the satellite pitch at the North end of the wood was getting little use, so after discussion I managed to borrow the quad and trailer from the farmer and cleared the area of any trace, good job fella's. while we had the quad we made use of it the next day too with a bit of timber hauling back to our main middle pitch.

Apart from that and given the heatwave it was a nice chilled out get together, a few pics.

I am envious, looks as though it was another good meet. My vehicle let me down for the meet. Hope to go to the moot. Any of you going?

Thanks for organising this, was great to meet you all and learn some things first hand rather than via YouTube for a change.
Biggest lesson learnt was that I need to sleep behind a mozzie net, I'm still suffering from the dozens of bites, was I just invited as bait

Yes of course! … and if its any consolation, despite organising these meets for getting on for 10 years (and should know better) I got hammered through my t shirt around the fire! didn't find out until later in the shower. :/ glad you found the meet useful though just ask away if you need any help/advice on anything.
