At the last meet when everyone was practising fire lighting I was going to show Rev G how to char amadou 18th century style and use with flint and steel but unfortunately could not find any horse shoe fungi in North Wood. Was just wondering if anyone would be interested in giving it a bash this time round, if so I'll collect some fungi and bring it along.

looking good for the weekend, we will be using the lower North Wood the same as last time. parking will again be on CP3, check out map link post 1 if your unsure.

now because im unavailable all weekend im looking for one or two good men (or women) to step forward to help run the show. nothing arduous make sure the wood and fire rules are followed, collect the fees, sort any new lads out and just generally keep an eye on things, given our regulars an easy task! So... any takers??
