Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
Its just stunning walking through North Wood when she's clothed in bluebells I didn't take many pics but heres my couple to help weigh down your thread, Steve
Thank you very much for facilitating this wonderful meet, Mr Woodspirits!
Failing a good old workparty, a bimble around the woods with friends is the highlight of a North Wood weekend for me.
So heres the car boot, emphasis on the car boot I wanted It's a rare day I get range rover envy but this autobiography had me salivating!
I was interested to know about the white flowers here- young Mesquite reckons maybe stitchwort but the petals didn't look deeply divided like stitchworts are. Shame cos that's an edible We should use these unidentified floras to force feed any folk who make the track muddy/ disregard meet rules etc, purely in the interest of scientific endeavour of COURSE....
I had a wonderful view from my hammock The communal one way and the yew, the other, carpeted with a haze of bells. I love hearing the laughter and chat of all my lovely bush bros as I drift off to sleep Its as secure and warm a feeling as being in a cave. Old friends or new, I really love you guys x
The best seat in the woods in my book, although Twodogs hammock chair put up a stiff fight! I did a great impression of a pheasants alarm call when it dropped a foot as I was reading... every gundog in Staffordshire probably raised its tail ready to pounce Best of all, no mozzie bites! Just a few chiggers. Reeeesult
