Had a wander around Lords Wood yesterday, looking good! The bluebells have diverted their energy to the seed pods, it is the turn of the ferns now they are shooting up all over. :)

Had a word with the farmer about borrowing his 8 ton excavator to grub out the bigger roots stumps, which are now sprouting with vigour! Yes thats fine he has a few jobs of his own first but we can also make some serious inroads into the wood. ;)

Somehow I have managed to get roped into a 24hr pedal car race that weekend so cannot make this meet.

I am way overdue a trip to Lords Wood and am missing the chilling :)

Hopefully next time

Have a good weekend and please don't burn my chess set - or the board James

The meet is almost upon us, forecast showing a bit damp but that could change. I don’t know if the farmer has cut the hay yet on the top meadow I will check next week. If he hasn’t, same as last meet stick to the perimeter do NOT drive across the grass. Update the list if you need to see you there.

uk mainly in the Midlands though
Work being what it is at the minute I can not make the weekend as a whole but hope to pop in on Saturday to come and see people. I am currently working 6 days a week, 4 for Amazon and 2 for the Reserves, but I feel and need a bit of woods time even if it does mean I get a bit of lack of sleep. Hope to see you for a quick visit.
