I did think about trying a field gun type race with trebuchets, but have never found the time do it properly. Did something similar on a smaller scale as an incident hike base.

A few weeks ago I had my lot build a Stonehenge section from railway sleepers. It went quite well and I think that they were impressed with what they managed to acheive with physics and their pioneering skills. I didn't realise how little soil there is up at the farm before you reach clay, hence the stakes!
