Nisperos

Sitting in the garden eating the first of our nisperos, sometimes called loquats. First time I've tried them, soft inner flesh which is sweet and sour at the same time.

Nice photo. I've not heard of them before. Something like a Pear?

I quite enjoy them peeled and dipped in salt, bitter sweet, but pleasant.

Never heard of them either, do they grow in the uk? Sound interesting.
