SCOMAN,
If you click on the paper clip you can see your images mate,
I've seen these before but not used them myself.

I use them. They are handy to have and are designed to break away if you put your weight on them to save you getting "hung up".

I have them in black, they are about the size of the "keyring" type carabiner and have a handy slot that slides onto 1" webbing straps.

Found this picture on the net - can't show you mine in use as Photobucket is down at the moment.

EDIT
Photobucket back up!

Left a standard climbing carabiner
Centre - 2 x grimloc
Right - "Keyring" style crabiner

They are the bees knees as far as I am concerned.
Fit on any 1 inch webbing.
Try on on the straps of your rucksack for gloves so you don't lose them
On the pack for keys so you always know where they are
On travel bags for tags
On my bush hat (on the camo strip) to clip it onto a bag/jacket
On travel toiletries bag to make it easier to hang up
On PLCE pouches I use to carry the family waterbottles-clip them all together for one trip to the river.
