New tools and my first spoons

Went to the Bushcraft shop in enfield as recommended. Really nice chaps.

Bought myself some tools, picked up some wood from the local forest floor.

Ok it's not great, need a crook knife to hollow out the bowl, but it'll do for stirring.

Nice one Budgester. Is that the GB wildlife hatchet?

Another alternative for carving the bowl out is to use a hot ember to burn the bowl out then scrape out as it burns down

Gotta say this is such a good tool.

And the knife is Mora clipper.

Now I need a burner in my garden to get rid of all the shavings.
