That's a shame.

We took that overnight crossing on the way to a tour of Denmark and southern Sweden and remember it fondly.

No easy route to take a car over now

It was bad enough that the Norway ferries were stopped but that really sucks.

That's a shame, fond memories of travelling the route during my army days, one special trip on the Dana Anglia, one of the roughest crossings of my life, the smell of vomit, ah the good old days!

Extremely bad news indeed; I have many memories of that crossing in the days when it was the cheapest and most pleasant way to get up to Scandinavia :-(

How can it add up that there's now no ferry at all to any part of Scandinavia?

Makes the return of the Newcastle - Bergen/Stavanger route all the more imperative.
