I've just received my new steels / strikers from Mike Ameling and they are great!
For scale the sulphur matches are 3 1/2 inchs long.
The oval job I've polished as they are sometimes described as such in the accounts of North West traders.

They throw great sparks, although I still can't land them where I want, only practice will cure that !
