Well here is my latest knife I made up for a friend. It is from a Brusletto "Kristin" 52mm blank and has a pine handle. She wanted something distinctivly personal - I do hope I have got it right  - for delecate woodcarving and I think this fits the brief!

Before you all start I know how soft pine but she likes it and it will not get rough use so I reccon it will wear well (anyway I can always rehandle it if necesary) It is finished with Dutch Oil.

Initally, when the blade arrived it looked sooooo small but now it is made up I Love it! (may even get one myself as a knife to cut leather ;) )

Yes the sheath is pink.... even better than that it is slightly pearlescent :D - I think it suits her perfectly and she will love it!..........we'll see:rolleyes:
