Hi, welcome, I was born in the New forest, havnt been back for many years, must attempt it soon though I bet its nothing like I remember any longer.

Sadly dragons teeth (stubby chestnut posts) everywhere now lining the roads (to slow people down) with passing places effectively making some places single track and you can only use car parks to park up.
Best bit is they are now mowing the gorse and bracken back 20m either side of the main roads through so horses are easier to see at night.
