Recently noticed over at www.equipped.org on a review of some US show some new tools/improovements leatherman are making to thier products. :-D I havent seen any of these on sale over here..nor even are they mentioned on the leatherman site...

What are people's views on these, or on leatherman tools they already own?? (or other multi tools you may own/have used-Gerber etc..?)

Cheers,
Strider.

which new leatherman tools/ improvments are you refuring too? As i cant find any on equipped that are not already avilable in the UK

could you find the paragraph stating this and cut/paste it into a post or give more details on where in the site you found the infomation you refure too

The leatherman wave is absolutly fantastic I am a perfectionist kit freek and i can find no fault with it and carry it everywhere, it is one of the rare bits of kit for which i cannot think of a sensable improvment

I think Strider was refering to the Charge Ti and those that come with it. I think it will be a while before they are available in the US, let alone the UK. They are mentioned on the Leatherman website. I can't remember the URL, but it is on a page with PDF's of lots of the leatherman tools :-?.

Odd/interesting shaped bits those bit holders seem to take! A better idea in the long run though than having to replace the whole thing when the screwdriver bits (crosspoint especially) get damaged!
