had Raikey over this morning to do some HT, so i did a blade or 2, just thought you might like a look......

Are these from steel stock or have you forged them yourself.

just a bit of old stock i had kicking around.......

just made them to kill some time this sarvo....

the next 1 will be another bushey from O1, will probably advertise it, should look really nice when done, 4mm with brass pins and tiger wood scales.......

not sure about these though....

although i still need to figure out how to heat treat Conan the Barbarians Saex,.....

they just came out the oven too,...i left em 2 hours ,..the shorter ones i pulled out at a straw colour,..the long ones i gave another notch and took em to brown,..(59ish),...for a bit more flex,.....

so its all good dude,...jobs a ,....................................lol..........

i made that skinner this sarvo dude, didnt take me long, i have started the handle too....

all good on your blades then mate....

mate, not as hard as you might think, all you need is a file hak saw and drill.....

the bits can be had for free, old file or saw blade from a car boot is 20p,i got 3 last week....

loads of tips on you tube, here and BB.....

go for it mate, all you have to lose is some time and maybe £2 or 3.......

Its not the time or cost but as i get into a project like this i get part way through then cant wait to finish so end up rushing and cutting corners. Result job screwed up and looks a dog. Thats why i asked Stu to do the work for me.
