Nettle and Ramson soup

Day off today so wandered into my local woods to grab some ingredients for today's soup.

Finding the ramsons was the easiest part

So after a lovely relaxing stroll it was back to the kitchen to get every cleaned and prepared

Even found a patch of pignut so bought one home as missus hadn't tried them before

Added the nettles to chicken stock with potatoes carrot leek and threw in some ramsons and I spot of chilli for a bit if kick then blitzed in s blender to create this

Rather tasty if I don't say so myself.

Lovely. Not as green as the last batch I made..... Think I over did it with stock and other veg. But still very tasty

I had my first taste of nettle soup at the last N.E.S meet when Chance made some up.

I have made 2 batches since then. I will need to keep my eye open for ransoms now.

Delish ... but leave the chilli out for me! I lose the ramsons taste with that. One of my fave soups. And I love your waterfall !!!
