Netting Needle

Been a while since i carved any netting needles, two in Birch and the knife used to create them, just the one to finish off today, then onto some Willow bark cordage to fill them with. Boards the needles were carved from initially cut on the bandsaw, hence the rough finish, might be rough, but they still work, refinement can come later.

Been sat out in the garden finishing it off this afternoon, light sanding and it looks far better, pics later/tomorrow.
Never did make the Willow cordage I was intending to make, far too busy watching the wildlife in the back field.

Nice work! Bandsaw rough cutting of the blanks I approve of, I never realized just how handy a bandsaw could be until I got one!
