I have used them in the past for storage of items where a see through bag helps also as a dump bag for wet clothes kept on the outside of the pack. Lately not so much.

I find the bags are handy for drying stuff. I use mine for drying leaves, both for tea and for tinder...mugwort for instance. I just tie them out on the washing line and let the fresh air do the job for me

Nice one. i actually use mossie head nets for the same thing, plus can also be used to protect from the wee beasties.
