I actually made this a while ago but I recently tidied it up. The first version of it looked like this:
That was how it came off the leg; just scraped and rubbed with wood ash then dried around the clipper sheath underneath. The sinew came from the leg too. I fancied improving it a bit though and making it easier to get at the knife handle, so it now looks like this:
The sinew was this time twisted into cordage; I like this a lot more and I hope the deer appreciates that it has produced something aesthetically pleasing.
