Cheers for posting that up Mr Fenna, great pictures of a wonderful place. Sounds like you had a fun and fulfilling time too. Haven't been up to Orkney in years which is a sin considering where I live. Very spiritual place there the barrier between ages seems very thin. Have inspired me to go back soon.

Looks stunning,wonder how long the stack will last before it succumbs to the force of the sea?

The stack is often used by climbers warming up to tackle the Old Man Of Hoy and has a bit of climbing tat left as an ab point... I hope the stack does not come down as a climber is going up!

John, i have never been up that way but after reading your thread it reminded me how much i should go up as i have an interest in that stuff that needs new food.
