In the Mountains
This is what the post man brought me today.
It is a ben Orford woodlander 3.5 (slightly smaller blade than the standard woodlander). It has reindeer scales and red linners. I am very very very happy with it.

Very nice :) looks "natural"* too!

*To clarify, some of the micarta scales and some of the darker stained woods can look a little artificial and plasticy to me. Nowt wrong with it, just my personal taste :)

Lovely knife I have 2 of Bens in Reindeer antler and it`s fantastic stuff, really dense.

Thats a very pretty thing! short blades add that much more power to cutting, well they do with my chef's knifes anyways!

Not seen a tapered tang before, i assume that adds to the foward balance of the knife?

TBL.

Thanks for your compliments guys.

JonathanD is right the tappered tang gives good balance to heavey scales like antler.
I am looking forward to making something with it this weekend :)
