Just thought I'd share with people my new toy that I won in the Midlands meet raffle. Got to admit I was totally gobsmacked when my winning ticket came up, my first comment when Decorum announced the winning number was 'you're joking!!!'. I'm still grinning like mad at the the sheer joy of winning such a wonderful knife. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Bernie, I don't what else to say apart from thank you for donating it. I'm going to get a lot of pleasure for years to come using it.

Decorum, thank you to you too for doing such a great job with the raffle and all the extra organising that you did for such a great meet.

You were the true definition of gob-smacked :D .
I can't actually remember which one of our 'ticket choosers' should be grounded for picking out 27 though

Admit it - You're like a kid in a sweet shop!

The feedback in the pre-raffle (non use) pass around was very good - Bernie :You_Rock_ and so does your work!

I'm going to get a lot of pleasure for years to come using it.

Definately not a drawer queen!

You can't have a Meet without other people ;) .
Thanks to all those who attended for a great weekend, thanks to everyone for their donations of goods and raffle money.

Hey Bernie - what are the scales made of on that one? That is a sweet looking kinfe. Now I need no more knives......but................

I'm delighted that went to someone who will use it and, frankly, beat the snot out of it....just as a good knife should be

I'm glad we raised so much from the raffle. Everyone who bought tickets :You_Rock_

Oh yes, it's gonna be a user for sure. I'm not one to keep it in a drawer and gaze upon it once in a while.

This is how it came back from the meet, not a great picture but you can see the staining on it from its first use :D
