My first mushrooms of the year.

I am in the midst of moving house at the moment. On sunday I started on the shed at the bottom of the garden. While I was clearing out I came across an Oyster mushroom kit someone bought me for christmas. Hmmm I thought - I'll get that ready and give it ago as soon as the move is over. I pulled it out and put it on the table in my conservatory.

And then I looked a bit closer at it.

Seems it couldn't be bothered to wait for me!

I love oyster mushrooms ...and they go so well with roast cat.
