Although I am not new to knives, I have only owned mass produced ones in the past (K-bar, and the USAF pilots knife are my two most recent ones).
I have owned quite a few pocket folders, and have literally spent hundreds of dollars on them.
Anyway, after reading numerous positive reports on Mora fixed blades, I finally decided to break down & buy one. All told, I spent $18 US. I ordered it online on sunday, and it was delivered yesterday. I picked it up from ragweed forge in the US. If you are shopping for these knives over here, you cannot go wrong with these guys.
Anyway, I got the # 731 model, and look forward to giving this thing a whirl. I have a tendency to be rough on my equipment, and have heard nothing but good things about these knives.
Anyway, just wanted to share the excitement!

They are fantastic knives that will not ever let you know. I don't know of another knife that can be driven into a tree trunk, stood on, and not break. I have that same model of knife, but in a neon orange handle and sheath. It takes a razor edge and holds it for a tremendous amount of time. And the best part? It was dirt cheap so if I ever lose it I won't have to go crying to the Bank. :)

Excellent knife, excellent choice!
