Hello all
Being inspired by this forum, I went and purchased Colins gem tree book and food for free. all I needed was somthing to carry it in.
So I set out to make my own pouch after being inspired by this forum.
You guys really are a knowledgeable bunch!
I didnt have leather, or needles, or fork punch, or thread.. infact I didnt have anything. Luckily I found some old stuff in my mums cupboards that did the trick. Great way to learn for free before I spend money on proper stuff.
Finished product, and all tools used for the operation!
Back
Intended use
Now just to make that hole a little prittier
ohh, question, the back of this leather (the suade bit) leaves a dirty mark on anything it touches, my hands are black from working with this leather. Any ideas how to clean it so it does not ruin the books? simple water and soap? I can confirm it is real leather.
