My first attempt at making my own knife handle

So I bought my self a nice knife blank from fieldcraft uk (on here)
It arrived very sharp with the brass pins, only costing me £27 delivered :)
I then bought myself some nice super grade curly birch scales and some blue liners to go with it.

I then proceeded to make the knife handle and here are the pictures :)

All in all not a bad knife for £40 and a bit of time.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers Dave

The sheath it's yet to be made.. Leather work isn't my kind of thing (I'm rubbish at it) I would hate to spoil it with a rubbish sheath.. So for now the blade is securely taped up to keep it from cutting anyone/ thing

That is really nice work. Amazing first attempt! I have been thinking about doing my own knife for a while but always assumed it would be beyond me. You have given me the inspiration to have a go!
