Hi all,

I was just looking at a few gerbers, and was wondering of there is any advised way of putting serrations onto a knife. I have had a look on Google and on youtube, but there does not seem to be a standard guide somewhere (which is odd). I was hoping someone might either be able to give me some advice, or a link to a guide; or tell me that I need a machine that is way out of my price range.

Thanks,

Mr. Ph34r

I would have thought a round file would be more appropriate - you would then get the nice scalloped edge rather than 'saw teeth'....

You might be able to use a coarse saw (hacksaw?) as a guide to make your serrations even - I would think that would be probably be the hardest bit
