My Cegga axe came in the mail

Oh yes. "Cegga" is Michael Cronja. Mic is a master axe Smith working for Hultafors when these were made. We got chatting about axe design on the old Outdoors forum and he offered to make my design. So we made ten and sold them on here. We did a few runs on here because people liked them. I never made any money on them preferring to let folks enjoy them - I laughed when they started trading at double or treble what we sold them for

Sadly Michael had some health issues so it's not something we continued with. Glad we did it though. I still have the axe he made for our wedding. That was a real "one of a kind"

They do appear and make me smile now and again..I saw Jon Pickett carving a spoon with one on Jane's YouTube recently
