Many people have problems deciding what gear they need when they start to go in the woods, so here's what I carry

WOW really nice, sensible kit, well thought out and sound gear, nice extras like the knife pouches you've made!
Can't really fault the kit, it's better than many kits people have!

the only thing I'd possibly leave is the tent pegs, as you can make some in a couple of minutes (but I always take tent pegs ;) )

I once camped in a sandy place with thin pegs like you have and they fell over, so now I carry thick pegs made from aluminium tube which always work.
