I've got absolutely no idea how much it's worth, nor who Frankie Miller is but there could
be a couple of things you could do to try and estimate its value.
1. Google for it including words like "went for" and "auction" to see if a similar thing
has recently sold. Even just a general google might bring up other similar items currently
on sale and there might be a Frankie Miller fan club who might know the value, and
might help you sell it.
2. ebay - usually a good indication of what things are selling for.
3. Shops that specialise in selling these items might know, or see if Bonham's or
Christie's have a popular culture specialist.
4. Specialst TV programmes like Flog It! or Antiques Roadshow might have forums at
which this sort of thing is discussed, and you could always see if there's an 'email the
experts'.
5. There might also be a magazine devoted to this sort of thing - there seems to be a
magazine for everything now!
6. Contact the printers who made the poster... if their details are printed on it that is.
7. Take very good care of your poster and follow any instructions for storage - eg should
it be rolled or folded?
8. Are there other inexpensive related items that you could pick up which might increase
the value of your 'lot'?
Good luck,
Jo
