This has got to be the most useful plant for firecraft and survival! The pith is flamable the stalks are great for hand drills. But you all arleady know that! I have also discoverd that the thin wing like fuzzy bark running the length of the stalk on mullein works realy well in the fire piston and flint and steel, lighting much easier than the pith typically described. I bet, and will find out soon, that the stalks also will make great survival arrows, light and fast for small game. I wont even get into the medicinal end...
