MSR XGK Pump Cup Failure

Hi

New model MSR XGK called roary by virtue of its noise. It has the new synthetic pump cup. The pump cup itself is not apparently distorted or cracked/damaged yet it wont stay on the plunger assembly so no pressure build up.

Any one have one of these stoves, and has anyone got an idea how to solve this problem??

MSR's customer service is pretty good. Try Emailing them direct or take it to one of their agents and have them send it back for replacement - I've had a Whisperlite pump replaced in the past which didn't cost me anything.
