Right im looking for a new stove and have narrowed it down to 2 The MSR Windpro and the MSR Simmerlite. The windpro at £60 and operates on remote canisters and the simmerlite is £90 and runs on remote fuel bottles with white gas.

What do people think about the 2?

Thanks

Hi,

MSR make good stoves...

If you're going to be operating up in the snow or at very low temps then the Simmerlite would be my choice... The canisters on the Windpro are convinent and fuss free and you don't need to prime the stove prior to lighting it like the Simmerlite.

Depends where you're gonna be taking both. Gas bottles don't like the cold weather too much... Each have their plus's and minuses though..
I'd take a white gas stove over the gas but each to their own :D It can take other liquid fuels available if I'm really desperate...
