Yeah, had a few nicks here and there, but this was something special...even the nurse was near fainting. Talk about being in the wrong job.
Still cant believe i did what i did. I'm usually kinda switched on. I was just about to head out on the hunt for some Chaga. Maybe tomorrow eh. i do feel like a idiot.

That ought to scar nicely. A story for the grandchildren. Well you have to turn it into a positive somehow.

I managed to nearly amputate the end of my thumb whilst demonstrating the safe use of an axe to a children's group, by doing something stupid. Anything that can be stitched afterwards is classed as a 'got away with it'.

Funnily enough the Doc said the same thing about stories for the Grandkids....I choose go with "Honest kids, i waved to Hitler from my submarine and he shot my pointing finger clean off, He wasn't a very nice man. We successfully managed to send another sub down to find my finger and we packed it in liberated frozen frankfurters until we reached the Hospital in Svalbard" story.

I'm 48, what do kids know about the passage of time anyway, they still think my underpants are from the Boar War.
