These knives are really workers. Take and maintain a wicked edge and afre easy to sharpen. Might only be 2mm (same as a billhook) but you can still baton with it.
There is slight markings where the sheath got damp (we it was in a canoe full of R. Spey water for 2 days) but nothing that will effect the knife. To be honest it will go if you use the knife.
