hi, just thought I would show you these. I don't usually do fur or feather but a customer wanted a Crone combined with a Raven in Yew, so I sort of morphed this combination then there are some little woodspirits I made from apple and ash, thanks for looking.

Hiya Dean had to increase the size of these little guys to around 7"x 2" to get some decent detail in, I don't know how you spoon guys manage!

thanks Steve depends on size and if there are any extra elements. but a basic 17" woodspirit takes about 2.5 to 3hrs?

Not as long as I thought it might and I bet you'd make it look simple to do which is the mark of a true craftsman

I suppose like most things mate, you do it often enough it gets easier, and faster and it's important to have the right tools for the job. I have a good mix of traditional and power tools, hats off to these guys who make something with just a knife! hard work, been there.
