More Bumblebees.

I have noticed that there is more Bumblebees about,we have huge amounts of them. Has anyone else noticed this ?

We stay at the bottom of Soutra Hill in the Scottish borders. Lots of different types.Big ones and wee ones with ginger bums some which are mostly black with yellow bums and Hornets a plenty . Kev.

It was a gentle winter and an early mild Spring so survival rates are high and brood rearing started early.

yupyup i've been getting dozens of monsters every day trying to get into my workshop and humming around...lovely to see!!!!!

It is nice to see so many buzzing about.
We have four Yurts up at the moment,one is white,two green ones and a blue one.The Blue one is a magnet for the bumbles its totally hooching with them and the others just get the odd wee visiter.

Loads round here too. Great to hear that drone as they fly past. I swore one was carrying suitcases
